The IHM's Governance Structure has been revised in order to improve accountability and decision making within the organisation.
The main members body is the Members Council and the Directors of IHM sit within the Executive Board and are accountable for the overall direction and control.
A number of committees have been created to take care of the more detailed business of IHM.
These comprise the Professional Development and Events Committee and this has two sub committees operating to it the MHSC Advisory Committee and the Assessment Board.
Other important committees are Finance, Audit, Remuneration, Communication and Membership and Personal Conduct. Importantly each of the formal Special Interest Groups are also represented through committees and two separate committees for Pensions and the Benevolent fund also exist.
Full details of these will appear shortly.
