Welcome to the IHM North West Regional Council
The North West Region of the IHM is co-terminus with the North West Strategic Health Authority known as NHS North West and covers the areas of Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire and Merseyside. This is a large vibrant and diverse region. NHS North West covers the largest geographical area of England’s 10 strategic health authorities and has a population of more than seven million people to look after living in both inner city and rural areas. There is a wide range of social inequality.
What is the role of the North West Regional Council?
Our principal role is to take the lead in ensuring that the local members of the IHM receive real value from being part of the only organisation that represents individual healthcare managers throughout their career.
We do this by being the conduit to help, support and advice to members whenever the need should arise.
We aim to ensure that the IHM is performing well for the benefit of the membership right across the North West by providing access to both local and national events, conferences and seminars.
