It consists of a diversified group of professionals from NHS including primary care, independent sector and the armed services.
It also benefits from having an IHM national director and the national network co-ordinator as members.
It is therefore uniquely placed to reflect the concerns, needs and aspirations of members and translate these into action plans.
Career surgery, linkages with local universities, acute services reconfiguration, the London mayor's health strategy and MHSC activities are among initiatives and events organised and being pursued.
