Ms Jane Hulley

Regional Consultant, West Midlands region

I have specialized in the field of learning and development for 19 years. Having originally started my career as a social worker in Birmingham I then opened and managed two restaurants for nine years until I joined the health service as the Training & Development Manager for the Primary Care Trusts in Shropshire. In 2003, I joined the West Midlands NHSU (NHS University) team as a Learning Co-ordinator focusing particularly on leadership, management development and e-learning. I now run my own consultancy business specialising in learning and development for the NHS and social care. As Regional Consultant for the IHM in the West Midlands I support the universities and other providers of the Managing in Health and Social Care programmes (MHSC) and the organisations that utilise the programmes for management development. I work closely with the IHM Regional Council to encourage and maintain professional development for IHM members and to promote the work of the Institute.
