Welcome to IHM West Midlands region
The West Midlands Regional Council of the IHM is coterminous with the West Midlands Regional area. We currently have over 650 members whom we engage with through a number of activities.
The Regional Council meets 6 times a year to plan activities and events to ensure that we respond to national initiatives and keep members in touch with what is going on in the centre. We also run a Regional Management Network which is a local version of the national initiative originally supported by the Department of Health. Funded in the first instance by the West Midlands NHS, the project has now been funded for a further year by Primary Care Trusts. We are seeking to incorporate its work into the Leadership and Management Development programme which the West Midlands NHS is leading.
