With ever more scrutiny on the effectiveness of PCTs, experienced commissioner Roger Hymas is leading a one day, working seminar. The objectives are:
- Determining contracting strategy and key objectives.
- Balancing activity levels/18 weeks/Patient Choice.
- Exploring opportunities to build integrated care solutions.
- Clinical safety, data quality and governance inputs.
- Building win/win outcomes for the local NHS.
All sessions will be fully participative, designed to help commissioners build and share their plans, experiences and strategies.
The seminar will be tailored to participants requirements.
Roger Hymas is former MD of BUPA and founding director of Health Dialog. He has advised 30+ PCT’s, including a period on secondment as Director of Commissioning at NHS Hampshire. He has broad experience of strategising and negotiating purchaser/supplier contracts in the public and private sectors.
