How to join

The Application Process

Applying for IHM Membership usually takes less than two weeks! Here are the simple steps of the application process: 

Download and complete the IHM Membership Application form and send to:

IHM will acknowledge receipt of application - normally by email.

Your application is rigorously assessed against the membership criteria. If there are any queries, or if we require more information, we will contact you.

For more details of the criteria and membership categories, see the menu on the left.

IHM will confirm your successful application and send out a ‘New Members Pack’ containing membership card, benefits details and information to get you started.

Once membership status has been achieved, you will be allocated to one of the IHM regions/divisions based on your preferred mailing address. However, you can choose to be allocated to any of the regions or divisions, it is entirely up to you – just let us know.
