Institute of Healthcare Management launches CPD Alliance
As you will be aware, our online learning provision – Elements, provides the means to enhance your existing skills and to meet your annual membership requirements. As part of our working relationship with Orkell who have developed the infrastructure to support our e-learning the next phase of development is now about to be made available to you.
We are delighted to offer our members access to an additional online CPD service – CPD Alliance from Orkell. Providing approved web-based learning available directly from the desktop.
The type of courses that can be found through the CPD Alliance currently include management, construction, finance, legal and medical.
These courses originate from the Law Society of Scotland, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, British Paramedic Association, Institute of Association Management, the Open University and of course ourselves.
CPD Alliance offers IHM members a complimentary means of fulfilling their professional development commitments, when and where they want by adding to our existing portfolio of learning programmes.
CPD Alliance provides access to a wide range of professional and personal development programmes from a wide selection of other institutes and organisations – CPD Alliance gives you the opportunity to develop new and wider skills.
Members also have the opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ – allowing you to undertake a sample of a course, to ensure that you are satisfied with the quality and value of the content, before you buy.

Orkell will shortly be adding courses from the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, as well as the Chartered Management Institute and we will keep you posted when these are available to you.
