Other information

The Training Centre, Ayrshire Central Hospital Irvine is an approved centre for the delivery of the Milestones programme. The centre is part of NHS Ayrshire & Arran Education and Learning provision.

The Milestones programme is a CPD provision of a 6 week development for managers, utilising theoretical principles to bring about service improvement/change by anchoring development in the workplace.

The programme includes an introductory workshop, when delegates choose and scope their piece of work using one of the Milestones, ensuring that benefit will accrue to the organisation.

There is a second workshop half way through the programme to help with assignment writing and meeting the criteria required for assessment.

Tutors are available by e mail and phone to help delegates throughout the programme if required.

The delegates are primarily from the NHS, however there may be opportunities for Social Work delegates to attend also.
