The Management Networks project was financed by the DH in England for one year to establish support networks regionally for all managers but particularly those in more junior positions in order to offer them development and support on a regular basis.
The DH resources for this project are now at an end and whilst negotiations continue with DH IHM regions are able to decide whether or not to continue to promote these networks particularly where they have been successful and meet a need.
Where IHM regions in England are running Management Network events they will continue to be open to all managers however the costs of these events will need to be covered by income raised through the bookings process.
Management networks have also started to be established in Scotland and are a joint venture between IHM and NES in Scotland. Details of these network events can be found on the Scotland Division pages of the site
