IHSCM Shaping Better Places Masterclasses

We are delighted to share Ian Boyd’s Shaping Better Places Masterclasses with our members. These Masterclasses are an insight into why and how to create environmentally-friendly, sustainability-conscious spaces within organisational landscapes, and personal landscapes; to reduce our carbon footprint and enhance physical and emotional wellbeing of staff, patients and individuals.

Ian Boyd is a member of the IHM Carbon Reduction Group and currently works for Arc Consulting; an environmental consultancy. He has worked in environmental conservation, ecological management and public engagement roles for over 30 years. Ian founded the Island 2000 Trust, the conservation charity Gift to Nature and inaugurated the Newport Rivers Group and Island Rivers.

Ian has worked for national and local charities, public sector and in private practice at locations across England and Wales, and has been a sessional lecturer in environment and countryside at the Isle of Wight College since 2008.

Video 1: A New Approach to Site Design and Management is available to watch now.

Ian will continue to add to his IHSCM Shaping Better Places Masterclasses, and the launch of these Masterclasses will be announced in our weekly newsletter and social media platforms.
